It will be the first time two players have entered the eventranked inside the top-10. The first time all eight seeds are rankedwithin the top-30 in the world and the first time 16 players areranked in the top-50. Top seed is Spaniard Tommy Robredo who recently played in theTennis Masters Cup in Shanghai. Robredo is No7 in the worldfollowed closely by 2006 Heineken pen finalist Mario Ancic atNo9. Another Spaniard David Ferrer is at 14 with defending champJarkko Nieminen of Finland one spot further back. Former two-time champion and world No21 Dominik Hrbaty returnsfor his ninth time at the Heineken pen and will be aiming for hisfourth final after winning in 2001 and 2004 and being a finalist in2003. The sixth seed will be Juan Carlos Ferrero the former world No1of Spain with Argentine Agustin Calleri the seventh seed at 29 inthe rankings.
